My Soapbox
Hello Everyone!  I hope 2010 has been especially good to you all, so far!

Seems this year finds Marvin and I particularly busy and out on the road
conducting workshops around the country.  I would like to thank all the
teachers, administrators and school personnel for making us feel so
welcome in your areas.  I would also like to send a special shout out
to all the high school students who have taken ownership of their
new roles as mentors.  We should not have to tell you how big
a difference you are making - just remember the faces of the
elementary students you spent classroom time with.  Their enthusiasm
and eagerness to participate in your presentations says a mouthful!
Mentors are a special group and we are so proud of you!  

On a sad note....
Many of you might remember our special Bullying Hurts mascots and
actor friends in The Helping Hand Video and on many of our classroom posters. I am sorry to report that Riggin and Rebel passed away this year. For those of you who know us, you know how attached we are to our dogs and other animals and include them in some of our presentations and materials for the program.  We are very proud that they brought so much joy and fun to many elementary students and even high school mentors, as we traveled to schools around the country.  We will miss them terribly.
